Recently, Mr. Chansak Chuenchom, President of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of the PTT Group, signed a collaboration agreement with Mr. Poh Tiong Keng and Mr. Perapol Umpaivit, Directors of CoolConnext Co., Ltd. (CCX). The partnership aims to strengthen energy infrastructure capabilities to support the rapid growth of the data center industry, which requires highly efficient and reliable cooling energy systems.
This collaboration combines GPSC’s strengths in energy innovation with CCX’s advanced cooling technologies. CCX is a joint venture between Getz Energy Co., Ltd. (Getz), a wholly owned subsidiary of GPSC, and Keppel Ltd.’s Infrastructure Division. Together, GPSC and CCX aim to deliver integrated digital infrastructure solutions, with a focus on sustainable energy utilization and enhancing the global competitiveness of Thailand’s data center and technology sector.
CCX operates a district cooling business, producing and distributing cool energy. The company is an indirect subsidiary of GPSC, in which GPSC holds a 51% stake through Getz Energy Co., Ltd.
